Official visit of the Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Tajikistan to the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On the basis of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, from November 24 to 26, 2021, a group of Guard military personnel led by the commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Tajikistan, Guard Lieutenant General Bobodjon Jamolzoda made a working visit.
At the airport in Tashkent, the guests were met by the commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General R. Dzhuraev. Then, in accordance with the schedule of the official visit, the commander of the National Guard and accompanying him were greeted with an honor guard in the yard of the National Guard of Uzbekistan. The meeting of the parties continued in the conference room. At the beginning, Lieutenant General of the Guard B. Jamolzoda expressed his opinion on the friendly relations between the two neighboring countries and cultures, and highly appreciated the beginning of cooperation and its future. Continuing the conversation, Major General R. Dzhuraev greeted the Commander of the National Guard and the delegation in the Republic of Uzbekistan and stressed the good sign of cooperation between the two influential structures.
Following the meeting, the heads of the Guards signed the Plan of Bilateral Cooperation for 2022, which provides for the implementation of activities in the field of training, exchange and advanced training in the military sphere.
After the official visit, the delegation visited the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Specialized Training Center, Victory Park and several units of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The visit took place in a friendly atmosphere, mutual understanding and a high level of hospitality.
